KATHMANDU, March 14: There is a possibility of rain in some places of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces of the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Nepal is currently under the partial influence of a westerly low-pressure system alongside local air conditions.
According to the meteorological bulletin issued by the MFD, the weather is mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country including Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. While the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country, including the Sudurpaschim Province, the remaining areas will be partly cloudy.
Heavy rain likely in some parts of the country
Gandaki, Karnali and one or two places in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim Province are likely to receive sporadic to light rain. There is a possibility of light snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous areas of the country. There is also the possibility of wind and storms at a few places in Lumbini Province.
Similarly, the weather will remain mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country, while the remaining areas will be partly cloudy tonight. Light snowfall will occur at one or two places in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.
