Rishi Raj preparing for ‘Churifuri’

After the commercial success of ‘Dream Girl’, director Rishi Raj Acharya is all set for his new film titled ‘Churifuri’. Acharya stated that the film will not just entertain the audience, it will be informative as well.

After the commercial success of ‘Dream Girl’, director Rishi Raj Acharya is all set for his new film titled ‘Churifuri’. Acharya stated that the film will not just entertain the audience, it will be informative as well. “I have prioritized  love story genre in all of my films so far. But ‘Churifuri’ is quite different. I am planning to make a unique story by blending it with comedy. After completing script-related works, we will start selecting artist and technicians,” the director informed.

Acharya has over a decade of experience in film making and worked as  assistant director since 2003. He steped into direction with Nepali teleserial ‘Aafanta’ in 2010. He has delivered different hit shows in the small screen including ‘Yatra Zindagiko’, ‘Sanjibani’, ‘Chaahana’, ‘Bishwas’ and ‘Jhatka’.  In the pursuit of  transforming his skills to celluoid film-making, he went to Mumbai, India. He  took a ‘One-year film direction’ training. After returning back, he directed various Nepali movies like ‘Sapana Timro Mero’ and ‘Suntali lai bhagai lagyo jhilke le’.


According to Acharya, after ‘Churifuri’ he will be busy with his next social story based film titled ‘Draupradi’.
