KATHMANDU, Jan 7: The ruling alliance has concluded the division of CPN-UML seats for the upcoming National Assembly elections.

The Nepali Congress secured the highest number of 10 seats out of the total 19, stating that the CPN (Unified Socialist) Party would be granted the chairmanship in the National Assembly. However, as no formal agreement has been drafted for assigning the National Assembly Speaker to the CPN (Unified Socialist) party, the likelihood of obtaining it is very low.
