KATHMANDU, Sept 28: Rupesh Adhikari and Dipendra Dhimal have been elected as working committee members of All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). Rupesh and Dipendra were elected in the re-election held at the special general meeting of ANFA in Tripureshwor on Wednesday.
Rupesh of the outgoing president Karma Tshering Sherpa panel and Dipendra of the president Pankaj Bikram Nembang panel were elected as members of ANFA. Dipendra got 47 votes and Rupesh got 54 votes. Meanwhile, member candidate Lokendra Gurung got 45 votes and Deepak Thapa got 7 votes.

In the election held on June 20, two members were not decided after each of the four members got 39 votes. With the election of two members, the 21-member working committee of ANFA has got a complete shape. Nembang was elected as the president, Bir Bahadur Khadka as the senior vice president, four vice presidents – Dirgha Bahadur KC, Birat Jung Shahi and Deepak Khatiwada and Dawa Lama were elected from the elections held in June.
Similarly, Sarila Shrestha and Pema Lama won in the women's category. Manish Joshi, Ramesh Byanjankar, Tika Lama, Anil Malla, Rabindra Chand, Bhojraj Shahi, Purushottam Thapa, Mahendra Chhetri, Bharat Budha Thapa, Maniraj Bista, and Bikash Narayan Shrestha were elected as members.
