Police arrested Khetan while he was about to board an India-bound plane at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Saturday morning.
According to sources, Ketan used to invest in illegal gold and look for gold customers as well.
Earlier, the special probe committee led by Ishwor Raj Paudel, joint secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, had raided Poddar’s apartment and took him under control along with important documents.
