KATHMANDU, July 17: Sita Sapkota has been elected the president of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) National Coordination Council (NCC) Belgium.
In the election held on Sunday, Sapkota along with Anuja Pradhan and Tirtha Dhamala was in the race for the leadership position.

Sapkota secured 1,112 votes to get elected to the post for the next term (2023-2025), according to NRNA sources.
Sapkota had already served as the President of Nepali Janasamparka Samiti, Belgium chapter. She is also a Mahasamiti member of the Nepali Congress.
