Keep BIMSTEC leaders at different hotels: Gagan Thapa
Drawing the attention of the government about potholes on the roads of the capital, during the zero hour of the House of Representatives meeting on Monday, Thapa said that such move would help repairing the potholes overnight just to please the visiting delegates.
“The head of government or state from six countries are visiting Kathmandu for the BIMSTEC Summit scheduled for August 30-31. I demand the government to arrange hotels for each guest in different locations in the Valley so that our government will bury the potholes and remove the waste along the roads to hide it from the guests,” Thapa said.
He was of the view that the BIMSTEC meeting would be an opportune moment for repairing the rough roads to the delight of the local commuters who have been facing problems in travelling in the pathetic roads of the capital.
