During the hearing on a case filed against KC on Monday, Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut demanded the Council of Ministers, Film Development Board and the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies and Bhuwan KC provide written clarifications.
The other candidates who had applied for the chairmanship of the Film Development Board including film director Naresh Kumar Poudel had filed the petition claiming that KC is not qualified for the post.
According to advocate Surya Bahadur Pandey, who pleaded the case on behalf of the writ petitioner, the apex court has called both the plaintiff and defendant parties of the case to appear on August 18 for further discussion before issuing an interim order.
