Scooter-bike collision leaves one dead

URLABARI, Sept 25: A person was killed and four others were injured in a fatal scooter – motorbike collision last night at Kadamaha locality along the Rangeli – Biratnagar road stretch.

URLABARI, Sept 25: A person was killed and four others were injured in a fatal scooter – motorbike collision last night at Kadamaha locality along the Rangeli – Biratnagar road stretch. 



The scooter (Ko 22 Pa 1893) en route to Biratnagar collided with a motorbike with an Indian registration plate and coming from the opposite direction. Dhirendra Kamat, 28, of Kadmaha – 6, who was riding the bike with Indian plate, died in the accident. 



Scooter rider Ramdev Mandal, 50, and his 17-year-old son, Aachkar Mandal, of Sorabhag – 17 and, Bhaglu Mandal, 30, of Kadmaha – 6 and Anjana Kamat, 15, of Dadarbairiya – 3 were injured in the mishap. 



They are undergoing treatment at the Golden Hospital based in Biratnagar, said Inspector, Avi Chandra Rijal, of Area Police Office, Rangeli. RSS
