Six COVID-19 patients died at Karnali COVID Hospital in past 24 hours

SURKHET, April 30: Six people died in the last 24 hours at the Karnali Province COVID Hospital.

SURKHET, April 30: Six people died in the last 24 hours at the Karnali Province COVID Hospital. According to the coronavirus focal person at the hospital, Dr KN Poudel, a 60-year old man from Panchpuri Municipality-5, a 73-year old man from Naraharinath Rural municipality of Kalikot, a 53-year old man from Lekbesi Municipality-1 of Surkhet, and a 63-year old man from Birendranagar-8 died on Thursday.


Out of the deceased, the 73-year-old man from Kalikot died on the way to the hospital. Similarly, two men, a 50-year old from Birendranagar-11 and a 41 years-old from Birendranagar-3 died on Friday morning.

As stated by Dr Poudel, “Six people who were undergoing and arriving for treatment at the COVID hospital died in the last 24 hours.” “As the hospital is overwhelmed with patients, the treatment process has been affected,” he added.
