Living a satisfied life

“I have spent more than half of my life here. I am 55 years old now,” said Shankar Shah, a fruit seller from Bihar, India, currently living in Kathmandu. “Few decades ago, fruit sellers like me were treated badly by local hooligans, who used to steal fruits and ask for money. However, it is different now,” added Shah. Shah has spent 30 years of his life in Nepal and is a father of two sons and a daughter. All his children are married. And he has managed to make a living, selling fruits here in Kathmandu. He said, “I am satisfied with my work and I love this place.”
