Administrative Chief of the Hospital, Yubraj Devkota, said that the hospital would provide SNCU service free of cost within a few days. Earlier, the hospital was compelled to send such newborns to other places in lack of such technology.

It is believed that rate of untimely death of the newborns would be decreased with the establishment of SNCU at the hospital. All infrastructures have already been constructed for the same. The Hospital Development Committee has set a target to upgrade the 62-bed hospital to 100-bed in near future. RSS
