CHITWAN, Nov 19: As the date of the election of members of the House of Representatives and provincial assemblies is approaching, suspicious objects have been found in three places in the main urban area of the district.
According to the District Police Office Chitwan, a suspicious object was found near Bharatpur Metropolitan City-10 Eye Hospital and Ward No. 12 Astha Chowk.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijayraj Pandit, spokesperson of the office said that the group involved in anti-election activities placed suspicious items in the pressure cooker at two locations. District Police Office Chitwan said that this may have been done to spread panic during the election. The office said that the item was deactivated at 3:30AM today.
Pandit said that a cylinder was set on fire and left near the Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality-16 ward office. He said that the cylinder has been kept in a safe place.
