KATHMANDU, Oct 26: The government has formed a task force to study the damage caused to paddy by floods and inundation caused by incessant rains recently.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Monday formed a task force under the chair of Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, according to  Government Spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.


The task force consists of secretaries of the Ministries of Agriculture, Finance, Industry Commerce and Supplies, Federal Affairs and General Administration and the Secretary of the National Planning Commission. The task force has been directed to submit a report within three days.
