Three arrested for calf slaughter in Bhaktapur

KATHMANDU, April 30: The police have arrested three individuals on the charge of slaughtering a cow calf in Bhaktapur.

KATHMANDU, April 30: The police have arrested three individuals on the charge of slaughtering a cow calf in Bhaktapur.


Among the arrested are 42-year-old Bir Bahadur Ranamagar from Kavre, 35-year-old Kashiram Lopchan and 34-year-old Chyangba Tamang from Sindhupalchowk.

The incident occurred on April 26 near the Bhadra Kumari River located in Changunarayan Municipality-9, Tathli. A joint team from Sudal Police Station and the Jagati Police Circle made the arrests and an investigation into the matter is underway, the police said.
