KATHMANDU, August 28: The bodies of three people who have been missing since Thursday night have been retrieved from the landslide debris in Hupsekot Rural Municipality-4 of Nawalpur on Saturday.
According to Madhusudan Singh, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Nawalpur, three people of the same family had gone missing due to landslide caused by incessant rain.

Locals including security personnel searched for the body on Friday. However, they could not find it. An additional 50 security personnel were mobilized on Saturday to locate and retrieve the bodies of the missing persons.
Dhanmaya Pulami, 40, and her granddaughters Bhumisara Pulami, 7, and Deumaya Pulami, 6, had gone missing after a landslide washed away their home at night. Hasta Bahadur Pulami, husband of Dhanmaya Pulami, was rescued.
