TIA shut down after Saurya Airlines plane crashes

KATHMANDU, July 24: Authorities have shut down the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) following a plane crash near the airport this morning.

KATHMANDU, July 24: Authorities have shut down the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) following a plane crash near the airport this morning.

Dozens of international and domestic flights have been affected due to the airport closure. 


A Saurya Airlines aircraft met with an accident near the TIA during take-off. There were 19 people onboard including the crew members.
