To beat death, kidney patient appeals for monetary assistance

MORANG, May 8: A kidney patient who is struggling for life has appealed to all for monetary help in his treatment.

MORANG, May 8: A kidney patient who is struggling for life has appealed to all for monetary help in his treatment. 


Dambar Bahadur Ojha, 40, of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-5, Morang, whom kidney fails, is undergoing dialysis on a regular basis for the past 11 months. "I am required to undergo dialysis twice a week. I am paying for the treatment by borrowing money," said Dambar Bahadur.

"Doctors involved in son's (Dambar) treatment have suggested kidney transplant on him, but it requires Rs 800,000 which we cannot afford it for want of money," said Dambar's mother Dhan Maya, who is willing to donate kidney to Dambar. 


The impoverished Ojha family had to loss property they have in their name in a fire that caught their house four years ago. Dambar Bahadur is married and has two children. RSS
