Two bombs found at a school in Humla

HUMLA, July 3: Two bombs have been found at Bageshwori School, Takla in Humla district today.

HUMLA, July 3: Two bombs have been found at Bageshwori School, Takla in Humla district today.


According to acting Police Inspector, Rajendra Bahadur Singh, the socket bombs were spotted at the school’s playground this morning.

A police team led by Sub Inspector Chintamani Pokhrel reached the site. The surrounding area has been cleared and the movement of people has been halted around the school area until the bomb disposal squad arrives. The security has also been tightened. Meanwhile, a disposal team has left for Takla from the district headquarters Simikot.


“Since it takes over four-hour walk to reach Takla, the Nepal Army disposal team will arrive at the spot on Thursday,” said Chief District Officer, Dholak Raj Dhakal.
