Two cops test positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU, May 21: Two police officers from Dhankuta have tested positive for COVID-19, a high-level officer at Nepal Police Headquarters told Republica Online.

KATHMANDU, May 21: Two police officers from Dhankuta have tested positive for COVID-19, a high-level officer at Nepal Police Headquarters told Republica Online.


With this, the total number of Nepal Police personnel infected with coronavirus has reached seven.

“The number of police officials infected with COVID-19 is increasing every day. So, Nepal Police is holding discussions with the health ministry and other authorities concerned for  a concrete solution,” the official added.


Earlier on Tuesday, two police officers from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati, tested positive for coronavirus.
