PALPA, Mar 3: Two people including driver were killed and five others sustained injuries after a jeep met with an accident at Birpokhara of Tansen Municipality-12 in the district on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased have been identified as Chitra Bahadur Thapa of Tansen Municipality-12, Luhang and a woman, who is yet to be identified, said police.

According to police, the incident occurred when the ill-fated vehicle (Lu 1 Ja1938) en route to Luhang Martadi from Tansen skidded off and fell some 100 meters down the road.
The injured have been rushed to hospital, police informed. Further investigation into the case is underway.
