Two dead, one injured as van knocks down motorcycle in Morang

URLABARI (Morang), Nov 3: Two persons lost their lives and one person was critically hurt after a van hit their motorcycle from behind at Itahara-4 in Morang district on the Urlabari-Baranga road section on Wednesday evening.

URLABARI (Morang), Nov 3: Two persons lost their lives and one person was critically hurt after a van hit their motorcycle from behind at Itahara-4 in Morang district on the Urlabari-Baranga road section on Wednesday evening. 


The deceased have been identified as Kilindra Bista, 18, and Raju Thapa, 26, of Itahara-2 in the district. They died during treatment at the Neuro Hospital in Biratnagar, according to the Itahara Police Post. 

Similarly, 21-year-old Prakash Rai, who sustained critical injury in the incident, is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.

The accident took place when the van ( Ko 1 Cha 5569) heading towards Biratnagar from Itahara Bazaar knocked down their motorcycle ( Ko 7 Pa 5708), said Sitaram Bhandari, Assistant Sub Inspector of Police at the Itahara Police Post. 


There were three people on the motorcycle, he added. RSS
