Two electrocuted to death

SURKHET, June 15: Two people were electrocuted to death in Birendranagar on Wednesday night. The deceased are 26-year-old Bhim Shahi of Kalikot and Pasang Lama, 25, of Ramechhap in Kalika Rural Municipality, District Police Chief SP Mohan Kumar Acharya told Republica Online.

SURKHET, June 15: Two people were electrocuted to death in Birendranagar on Wednesday night. The deceased are 26-year-old Bhim Shahi of Kalikot and Pasang Lama, 25, of Ramechhap in Kalika Rural Municipality, District Police Chief SP Mohan Kumar Acharya told Republica Online.


Shahi and Lama were the staffers of Fire Fish Cottage based in Pateni Road in Birendranagar-3.

According to SP Acharya, Shahi and Lama who sustained serious injuries breathed their last while being rushed to Mid-western Regional Hospital.


Shahi was a waiter while Lama was a cook at the restaurant.


Similarly, Lok Bahadur Mandir of Panchapur Municipality-10 went missing in the Bheri River. According to a local, Mandir was   swept away while he was swimming across the river on Wednesday night.
