Two held with banned wildlife parts

NUWAKOT, March 4: The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police has arrested two people along with the dried meat of endangered wildlife.

NUWAKOT, March 4: The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police has arrested two people along with the dried meat of endangered wildlife. 


Those arrested in this connection are Krishna Lal Shrestha of Belkotgadhi Municipality-7 and Balram Shrestha of Tarakeshwar Rural Municipality.

Acting on a tip-off that the two men were involved in the illegal trade of wildlife parts for long, the CIB sleuths approached them acting as buyers. Police confiscated the dried meat of three Eurasian eagles and a pangolin from Krishnalal's house on Saturday. 


Police will produce the two men arrested in this connection before the District Forest Office today for legal action.(RSS)
