Two held with stolen goods

RASUWA, Sept 3: Rasuwa Police has arrested two people on the charge of theft in the district on Monday.


The arrested are UJjwal Devkota and Bir Bahadur Tamang of Kalika rural municipality.

Another thief Ramesh Adhikari is still at large. They are accused of stealing nine pieces of gabion nets and a roll of aluminum wire prepared for Bhorle road section on Friday night, according to Police Inspector Om Prakash Wagle.


Locals had caught them red-handed while they were ferrying the stolen goods and handed them over to the police.


Police have launched a manhunt to nab the absconding thief while a case has been filed against the arrested.
