Two journalists in Kapilvastu test positive for COVID-19

KAPILVASTU: Two journalists have contracted coronavirus in Kapilvastu district.

KAPILVASTU: Two journalists have contracted coronavirus in Kapilvastu district.


On Friday morning, the Ministry of Health and Population said that nine new infections have been confirmed in Kapilvastu district, of which two are journalists.

With this, the number of coronavirus patients in the district has reached 69.


Likewise, four security officials, one nurse and two civil servants have also contracted the deadly virus.


According to Dilaram Bhusal, president of Kapilvastu chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists, both the journalists are male, and they are from Kapilvastu Municipality-3 and Banaganga Municipality-10, respectively.


By the time of writing this news, the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 487 cases in Nepal, with three deaths
