UML lawmakers obstruct National Assembly meeting, demanding PM’s resignation

KATHMANDU, July 9: Even today, the CPN-UML interrupted the meeting of the National Assembly. As soon as Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timilsina announced the start of the meeting, which began a little later than scheduled, UML lawmakers rose from their seats and protested.

Timilsina gave MP Bhagwati Neupane the time to speak. MP Neupane demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal saying that there is no need to answer in parliament anymore.


She said that the PM is not worthy to come to parliament and answer, as the only option is to resign and the protest will continue until the resignation of the PM.
