KASKI, May 16: UML candidate Bed Bahadur Gurung has been elected as the chief of Madi Rural Municipality in the district.He has secured 4637 votes.
His closest rival Devijang Gurung of Nepali Congress got 3653 votes.
Similarly, UML has also bagged the deputy chief of the same rural municipality.
Bishnu Maya Paudel has been elected as deputy chief with 4,523 votes. Her closest rival Prabha Shree Gurung of NC got 3,131 votes.
