UML wins elections in Achham-1

ACHHAM, Dec 10: CPN-UML candidate for Accham constituency-1 Bhim Rawal has been elected to the House of Representatives.

Rawal has defeated Bharat Kumar Swar of Nepali Congress with a wide margin of 7,164 votes.


Rawal secured 24,883 votes while his closest rival Swar obtained 17, 719 votes. Left alliance has already won four Provincial Assembly members from Accham district.
