KATHMANDU, June 16: An unidentified group looted 3 kgs of gold and 35 kgs of silver from a jewelry shop in Chitwan on Saturday night.

KATHMANDU, June 16: An unidentified group looted 3 kgs of gold and 35 kgs of silver from a jewelry shop in Chitwan on Saturday night.


The incident took place at Binod Gold and Silver Jewelry Shop in Kalika Municipality-6 in the district, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan.

In addition to the precious metals, the robbers also stole Rs 200,000 in cash.


The police have launched an investigation into the robbery.
