Four of the injured being airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment
KATHMANDU, April 14: Five people were killed earlier this morning in a road accident in Pyuthan district.
The ill-fated jeep (LU 1 JA 1655) on the way to Swargadwari in Pyuthan met with an accident at 11AM on Wednesday, according to Police Inspector Devi Prasad Aryal of the District Police Office, Pyuthan.

The jeep was carrying employees of the District Administration Office of Gulmi.
“As many as 12 individuals sustained severe injuries in the accident of which four are being taken to Kathmandu for further treatment via a helicopter,” Aryal said.
The deceased have been identified as Keshav Karki, 22, of Musikot Municipality-3, Shyam Neupane, 38, Administrative Officer of DAO Gulmi, Surya Prasad Panthi, 36, computer operator at DAO Gulmi, Ishwori Bhandari and Yamlal Panthi, Kharidar (Non-gattazed second class government official) at DAO Gulmi.
It has been learnt that the jeep fell down the road while trying to overtake a vehicle at Swargadwari Municipality-3.
