SINDHUPALCHOWK, Sept 14: Three more dead bodies were recovered from the Gumthang landslide site on Monday afternoon, taking the landslide death toll to 14.
As many as 17 individuals are still missing.

According to the information officer of the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Prakash Sapkota, the dead bodies of 22 years old Kumar BK, 21 years old Soniya BK and 53 years old Singha Bahadur Pradhan were retrieved from the landslide debris this afternoon.
With this, seven females, five males and two children – a boy and a girl - have lost their lives in the incident.
Similarly, the dead bodies of Bhaktimaya Shrestha (63), Tyaksi Sherpa (98), Gyani maya Pradan (42), Junu BK (23), Sukula BK (24), Sandesh BK (8), Sarkini Newar (60), Dhanlal Newar (65), Heramaya Shrestha (42), Saraswati BK (5) and Karan Bahadur Shrestha (25) were recovered earlier.
