We will make CPN (Unified Socialist) largest party after unity deal with Dahal, Bhattarai, Baidya and Biplab: Chaudhary

KATHMANDU, August 25: The CPN (Unified Socialist) leader Met Mani Chaudhary has claimed that their party will be the largest political party in the country within the next four months.

KATHMANDU, August 25: The CPN (Unified Socialist) leader Met Mani Chaudhary has claimed that their party will be the largest political party in the country within the next four months.


Talking to media persons on Wednesday, Chaudhary said that the Madhav Kumar Nepal-led CPN (Unified Socialist) and Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led CPN (Maoist Center) will be united within the next four months.

"The possibility of a merger between our CPN (Unified Socialist) and the Maoist Center within the next four months has increased," he said. "There have been discussions on this issue already. Necessary preparations are also being made. Talks are being held."


Chaudhary also said that they will further strengthen their party after uniting it with other communist fronts led by Dr Baburam Bhattarai, Mohan Baidya and Netra Bikram Chand in the days ahead. "Apart from the Maoist Center, we are also in the process of reaching unity deals with other fringe parties. We are headed to the direction of making the party the largest one in the country," he added.
