Ranbir Kapoor gets injured
After the success of ‘Sanju’, Randir Kapoor is in no hurry to sign new projects unless he is absolutely sure of the script. The actor was recently given the script for the upcoming biopic on astronaut Rakesj Sharma after it was apparently turned down by both Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. It is said that the makers first approached Aamir, who had to opt out because to work on a project based on the Mahabharat. Ironically, Aamir later opted out of that project, too).
After that, makers approached Shah Rukh, who was hesitant to play an astronaut again after Aanand L. Rai’s ‘Zero’, which failed at the box-office. Recent news, however, suggests that the film’s producer Siddharth Roy Kapur wants to cast Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role. While it is being said that Ranbir was offered the role and even liked it a lot, he is hesitant to sign another biopic so quickly after ‘Sanju’. However, talks are still in progress and he makes just say yes if the producers manage to convince him.
