ROLPA, Dec 23: Bar Maya Pun, 55, was arrested with five kilograms of hashish during a vehicle check at Thawang road. Pun was heading to Sulichaur from Sun Chahari rural municipality in a vehicle, Ra 1 Ja 689 when it was stopped for a police check.

The hashish was wrapped in plastic and kept hidden on the vehicle's roof. DSP Dipak Khadka, chief of Rolpa Police Office said that Pun has been taken into custody for further investigation. Amid information leaks that Rolpa produced and sent hashish across the country, police have beefed up security checks.
