CHITWAN, Aug 6: A tiger attacked and whisked away a woman who was collecting fodder at a forest at Bharatpur Metropolitan City-25 in Chitwan today morning. Sushila Dumre was collecting fodder in local Raptidun Buffer Zone Community Forest along with her friends when the incident occurred.
One who accompanied Dumre to the forest collapsed upon seeing Dumre being attacked by the animal, and is receiving treatment at a local health post, while another saved life by fleeing the attack, said local resident Bikas Pathak.

Body parts of Dumre were found scattered in the forest, he said.
Information officer at the Chitwan National Park Nurendra Aryal confirmed the tiger attack. A team along with a tamed elephant has been dispatched to the incident area to find Dumre, he added. Three persons were killed in tiger attack last year in Chitwan, said the CNP. RSS
