KATHMANDU, April 6: Women and indigenous rights activists have requested to emphasize on gender justice while making or implementing any policy or law.
According to a statement, they emphasized on the need to adopt inclusiveness when working to reduce climate impacts and proceed in a way that no one’s beliefs, culture and customs are affected.

They made this request on the second day of the regional policy dialogue program on “Securing land rights of women and indigenous peoples in the face of climate change in South Asia” held in Kathmandu co-organized by Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Community Self-Reliance Center, and International Land Coalition.
