KATHMANDU, Dec 27: A few night clubs in the Kathmandu Valley have started witnessing crowds of trendy young people dancing there even as cases of coronavirus have been rising in the Valley in recent months.

Maintaining social distance, using face masks and avoiding large gatherings are considered as the best possible ways to protect people from the coronavirus. As cinema halls reopened after months in the Valley, night clubs have also started reopening and this has not been perceived just as a mere coincidence, people familiar with the development said.

The worrying factor is young people are seen defying COVID-19 protocols while enjoying in night clubs these days and it could help transmit the coronavirus rapidly.
