23 police officers at Nepal Police HQ test positive for COVID-19

KATHMANDU, July 28: A total of 23 police personnel at the Nepal Police Headquarters have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).

KATHMANDU, July 28: A total of 23 police personnel at the Nepal Police Headquarters have tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19).


According to an official at the headquarters, Nepal Police is preparing to send the infected police personnel to the Balambu-based APF Hospital for treatment.

Earlier on Sunday, four police officials had also tested positive for the virus.


"During the contact tracing, the swab samples of police officers were collected in the last few days," the official told Republica.
