Winters can leave your skin dry, dehydrated, greasy, ashy, and scaly. But following a proper skincare routine will help your skin get back into a healthy form again. A scrub can be a better companion for your winter routine as they help with exfoliating while nourishing the new skin beneath, leaving you soft and glowing all over.

DIY coconut brown sugar scrub is cheap and easy to make scrub which literally requires just two ingredients:

  • Coconut oil and

  • Brown sugar.

How to make it:

Take a bowl and pour the two ingredients in an equal amount. Now mix it until you feel like it is ready to use.

Direction for use:

For Hands

It can be used after washing your hands. All you have to do is scoop out a small amount and massage your hands, especially around the cuticles.

For Body

Now for the fun part! When taking a bath or shower, simply scoop out the desired amount of scrub with a small spoon or spatula and exfoliate from neck to feet. Concentrate on especially dry areas like elbows and knees for really soft moisturized skin.

For Face

Take a little amount of the mixture and gently rub it around your face. Be careful not to rub too hard as the skin in your face is softer and a little sensitive than skin in any other body part. Leave it on your face for few minutes and wash it with cold water.
