BARDIYA, July 16: Bardiya police have arrested two people in possession of the illegal drug brown sugar. The arrestees have been identified as Abraj Khan, 22, from Laxmana of Bansgadhi Municipality-8, and Season Paudel, 28, from Bansgadhi Municipality-5.

The police apprehended them with the contraband in Gulariya Municipality-11, at a checkpoint on the bypass road while they were acting suspiciously after crossing the Indian border. They were found in possession of 670 milligrams of brown sugar concealed in two plastic wrappings.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Tulsiram Aryal of the District Police Office, Gulariya, stated that further investigations are ongoing.
