A photo book ‘Himalayan Fashion Adventure’ by photographer Gautam Dhimal was launched in Kathmandu. Along with that, a photo exhibition of the same kicked off on 18 February in Location Nepal, Mandikhatar that will continue till 24 February.

Dhimal uses Fuji film GF 100 medium format, Pro photo lights high-end equipment, and has worked with international brands like Disney, BBC, and more according to a press statement released by Idea Pixel. The book launch and the exhibition are presented and managed by Idea Pixel under Grishma Broadcasting Pvt Ltd.
It added that the photo book is a brief account of the memories the team made working on fashion photography of designer wears created by designer Tej Maya Pun and stated, “Himalayan Fashion Adventure, an adventurous fashion photography trip that took us to marvelous locations all over the Mustang region of Nepal. The team of highly skilled individuals equipped with high-end gears embarked on this grand fashion journey to Mustang, the last forbidden kingdom, and captured stunning photos and videos.”
The new edition of the book will be published annually which aims to bring light to the wide range of creative opportunities for photography and film production in different locations of Nepal, as well as to support the scope of Nepal as a next film and photography destination for everyone.
Further, it stated the book will be helpful for all aspiring fashion designers, fashion photographers, models, travelers, adventure enthusiasts, as well as travel and landscape photographers.
