Gold price goes up by Rs 600 per tola

KATHMANDU, Feb 7: The price of gold has gone up by Rs 600 per tola on the domestic market on Wednesday.


Fine gold is being traded at Rs 118,600 per tola on Wednesday. The precious yellow metal was sold at Rs 118,000 per tola on Tuesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

Similarly, the rate of standard gold is fixed at Rs 118, 050 per tola today, up from the price of Rs 117,450 per tola yesterday.


Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable at Rs 1,375 per tola.


In the international market, the price of gold is $2033.99 per ounce on Wednesday. It traded at $2029.18 per ounce on Tuesday and $2031.51 on Monday.


Similarly, silver is currently being traded at $22.27 per ounce. It was $22.45 per ounce on Tuesday and $22.55 per ounce on Monday.
