Gold price slumps Rs 700 per tola

KATHMANDU, Nov 19: The price of gold went down in the domestic market on Thursday. The news of the successful test of the vaccine against coronavirus in the international media had its impact on gold price as well.

KATHMANDU, Nov 19: The price of gold went down in the domestic market on Thursday. The news of the successful test of the vaccine against coronavirus in the international media had its impact on gold price as well.


In line with the slump in gold price in the international market, the price of the yellow metal dropped by Rs 700 per tola (11.66 grammes) in the domestic market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 94,400 per tola today. Its price was Rs 95 thousand 100 per tola on Wednesday.


Similarly, worked gold was traded at Rs 93,900 per tola today. Its price was Rs 94,600 on Wednesday. The price of silver was Rs 1,215 per tola Thursday. It was Rs 1,230 on Wednesday.
