NCP leader Yogesh Bhattarai takes oath of office as tourism minister
Newly appointed Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Bhattarai took oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday. President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to Bhattarai amid a special program held at Sheetal Niwas. Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and other dignitaries and officials were present at the program.
PM Oli directs ministers to implement work contract they signed
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has directed all the ministers to enhance their performance to achieve the goal expressed in the government’s slogan ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’ on Wednesday. House stalled second time in less than a week
The Parliament session was adjourned on Wednesday following the obstruction of the House Proceedings. Unidentified groups detonate bomb in Nuwakot, torch ward office in Rautahat
Unidentified groups have detonated a bomb in a ward office of Kakani rural municipality in Nuwakot and torched a ward office at Chandapur municipality in Rautahat on Wednesday morning. Official documents, printers, and computers in the ward offices were destroyed in the arson attacks, according to local authorities. However, nobody has claimed the responsibility for the blasts so far.
State 1 government approves Manmohan Technical University
A meeting of the Council of Ministers of State 1 today accepted the bill to make provisions about the Manmohan Technical University.
