The DAOs have also decided to allow schools to run regular physical classes in case of students above 12 years of age from February 13. However, schools have asked to run alternative classes for children below 12 years of age.

Earlier, the CCMC meeting had recommended DAOs in Kathmandu Valley to lift the odd-even rule enforced earlier for all private vehicles and taxis. The CCMC meeting held on Sunday afternoon also had recommended government bodies concerned to allow resuming physical classes in schools, open cinema halls and grant permission to open night businesses such as restaurants starting February 13, according to CCMC officials.
