NC decides not to hold party meetings at PM’s official residence in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU, July 22: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has decided not to hold any official party meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.

KATHMANDU, July 22: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has decided not to hold any official party meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar.


The party has broken the wrong trend of holding party’s meetings at the PM's residence, according to General Secretary of NC, Purna Bahadur Khadka.

Taking to his twitter handle, Khadka wrote “From today, breaking the wrong trend of holding party’s meetings at the PM’s residence, NC has decided not to hold any official party meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence at Baluwatar.” 


“With this decision in effect, NC’s office-bearers’ and former office-bearers’ meeting scheduled for Friday will be held at Budhanilkantha,” Khadka further wrote.
