Nepal Korea Friendship Municipality Hospital suspends its services after detecting COVID-19 in health workers

BHAKTAPUR, Aug 15: The Madhyapur Thimi-based Nepal Korea Friendship Municipality Hospital  has suspended all its services except emergency from Saturday after some of its health workers and employees tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease COVID-19.

BHAKTAPUR, Aug 15: The Madhyapur Thimi-based Nepal Korea Friendship Municipality Hospital  has suspended all its services except emergency from Saturday after some of its health workers and employees tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).


Four employees of the hospital were diagnosed with COVID-19 on Friday. Three of them are nurses and the other is a man responsible for managing the parking lot of the hospital.

Issuing a press statement Saturday morning, the hospital said that the infected people are currently undergoing treatment and their health status is normal for now.
