KATHMANDU, April 11: Nepal recorded 22 new cases of COVID-19 along with 46 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Monday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 5,144 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 22 PCR tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 580 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 544 are in self-isolation, 24 in institutional isolation, 11 in ICU’s and one on a ventilator. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 16 cases of COVID-19 on Monday. The cases were reported in Kathmandu district.
