KATHMANDU, March 2: Nepal recorded 127 new cases of COVID-19 along with 321 recoveries and three deaths from the deadly virus on Wednesday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 6,874 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 123 PCR and four antigen tests turned out to be positive for the deadly virus.

There are currently 7,848 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 7,580 are in self-isolation, 190 in institutional isolation, 68 in ICU’s and 10 on ventilators. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,941 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 30 cases of COVID-19 on the same day. Of them, 18 cases were recorded in Kathmandu, four in Bhaktapur, and eight in Lalitpur districts.
